How do scientists work?

Scientists raise questions about the world and nature.  Scientists work alone or in teams.  They use their results to form explanations. 

Scientists use tools to collect and record data.  They compare observations and explain differences.  Safety is important when doing Science.

When scientists investigate, they keep records.  Scientific methods are organized steps to investigate.  Scientists communicate to share what they learn.

Scientists observe by paying attention to what happens. They make inferences based on observations.  Units of measure help scientists compare evidence.

Models help scientists understand how things work.  Models cannot show everything about the real thing.  Science words have more than one meaning.
